At South Shore Women’s & Children’s Hospital we offer specialized pediatrics care and treatment clinics, jaundice clinics, well baby clinics, Pre-school medical screening, Vaccination to infants, children and adolescents.

Our pediatrics services range from newborn care, Immunization Services, general out-patient, specialized pediatrics care and pediatrics surgical services.

New Born Care / Neonatal resuscitation/ NICU

Our highly skilled Paediatricians provide comprehensive medical care to both preterm and term babies delivered at South Shore or referred for expert care.


We provide all recommended immunizations from birth, and at all the appropriate ages. We also give ‘catch-up’ doses for cases where a child has missed their immunizations. All vaccines for babies/kids are available at South Shore Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Our Immunization clinic days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Special Clinics

Specific pediatrics subspecialty, including Pediatric Surgery, Cardiology, Endocrinology, or Urology. We have highly skilled and pleasant experts available to offer children the best level of care they require.

Well Baby Clinics

We offer a wide range of newborn and adolescent health screening. We have a standard laboratory unit, where different tests can be done.

General Out Patient Clinics

Our Pediatrics doctors at South Shore Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lagos, are available to provide care for the children in a comfortable and friendly environment. We run a general outpatient clinic from 9 am to 4 pm daily, with inpatient care and emergency services available on a 24 hour basis.

Pediatric surgeries

In case of surgeries for kids, this can be done at our pediatrics unit.

Pre-School Medical Screening & test/medical report

This is for schools requesting tests and medical screening before a new session or admission. These tests can be done easily at our laboratory in collaboration with our Paediatrics unit. We provide medical reports for embassies, schools, etc.

Our Paediatrics team works to make every child as comfortable as possible during their time in the hospital, by providing a friendly, cheerful, and comfortable environment, while offering clear explanations and support to patients and their families.

We run our Paediatrics clinic in our Victoria Island Branch and Ikeja GRA Branch.
