Dr. Olajuwon Alabi

Dr Olajuwon Alabi is the CEO and Medical Director of South Shore Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist, and a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, United Kingdom.

He is an expert in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery (Minimally Invasive Surgery) and one of the leading experts in the field in Nigeria. His other areas of interest are Fibroid treatment, Infertility and Assisted Reproductive Techniques, Endometriosis Diagnosis and Treatment, High risk Pregnancy Care, and Recurrent Miscarriage.

 

Cynthia Ojetola
Group Managing Director

Cynthia Ojetola is the Group Managing Director of Bloom Fertility Clinic Limited and South Shore Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

She manages and oversees the business operations, provides strategic leadership, drive strategic organization growth and responsible for the overall performance of the business. She is a strategic leader who drives the organization to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long term goals.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Development from the University of Salford, Manchester, United Kingdom.

She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, United Kingdom.

Oluwakemi Obilade
Head, Procurement

Ms. Oluwakemi Obilade is the Procurement Manager for Southshore Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

She studied at the College of Medicine, the University of Lagos where she bagged a Masters’ degree in Public Health. She is passionate about Maternal and Child Health; and the provision of excellent healthcare service delivery.

She has certifications in Project Management In Global Health, Leadership and Management in Healthcare from the University of Washington; and also Healthcare Financial Management.

She is a certified member of the Institute of Corporate and Business Affairs Management and looking forward to being a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

Pharm Nkem Idigo
Head, Pharmacy

Pharm Nkem Idigo is the Head of Pharmacy department at South Shore Women & Children’s Hospital. She began her career as an intern at Military Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos. Following her stellar performance during her internship, she was retained at Military Hospital for the compulsory one-year National Youth Service. At the end of the National Youth Service, she joined Reddington Hospital where she rose to the position of Acting Assistant Head of the Pharmacy Department in the year 2017. In the same year 2017, she joined South Shore where she has been till date.

 

Pharm Nkem is passionate about children and maternal health. She’s currently working on research that evaluates the role of pharmacists in curbing the menace of microbial resistance to antibiotics which is growing global health issue. She is also passionate about cancer research.

Pharm Nkem’s interest outside work includes travelling, going on hikes and recently has found love in proofreading articles and mentoring young pharmacy professionals.
